Magpie

Post by MisterT » 04 Aug 2015, 18:31

After a quiet spell on the patch here at Askernish, July ended on a high with Sandwich Tern and Little Gull late in the month along with many returning waders including Whimbrel, Knot and Black-tailed Godwits. Then things got just that little bit better on finding a Magpie. If it had turned up 6 months earlier it would have been a “first” for the Outer Hebrides.
