Yesterday a Corncrake was out of usual habitat on the pebbles at the end of Aird an Runair. During a couple of short seawatches (yesterday and today) a trickle of Gannets were going south along with 32 Great Northern Divers and a few other things including my first Purple Sandpiper. A very approachable Snow Bunting was also present and at least 500 Barnacle Geese passed over south just inland of the headland in ten minutes this morning.
