Askernish Moths - 19th April 2016

Post by YvonneB » 20 Apr 2016, 14:44

Back on island after an extended break to the warm sunshine of southern Spain!

Moth trap out last night for the first time here this year, I didn't have very high hopes for a bumper catch as it felt quite cool and breezy. I was pretty pleased with the results this morning though:-

20 Hebrew Character
3 Red Chestnut
2 Brindled Ochre
1 Emperor Moth (which was very worn and past it's best but still beautiful :) )
