White-rumped Sandpiper

Post by MisterT » 02 Jun 2016, 19:33

They say things happen in threes. Even with the two American vagrants already on the islands recently (Black-billed Cuckoo and White-crowned Sparrow), it was still a surprise to find this White-rumped Sandpiper at the north end of Loch Bee. Possibly the earliest record here in OH.

The Crane has been seen occasionally between Gerinish and Nunton as it was yesterday.
