Arctic warbler

Post by Bruce » 13 Oct 2016, 19:51

I found an arctic warbler at lunchtime near the old manse at Cuithir, Barra. It showed well on and off through the afternoon. It spent much of its time feeding at ground level amongst dense vegetation, regularly flying up into nearby bushes. A single yellow-brow in the same area and at least 3 others around the island today. Also of note, a treecreeper in the plantation at Ardmhor.
