Balranald Nature Reserve 28th March

Post by BrianR » 28 Mar 2012, 16:46

A few photos from visit to Balranald Nature Reserve this morning. The Glossy Ibis was feeding on the opposite side of the road from yesterday in a wet area towards Hougharry. At Loch nam Feithean 20 Greenland White-fronts were joined by another 67 - three had neck-collars (at some distance so I hope I have the correct reading). At Aird an Runair a flock of 25 Oystercatchers flew N as did the first Great Skua of the year. Three Lapland Buntings were showing well.
