Pink-feet & Greenland White-front Geese

Post by MisterT » 01 Apr 2012, 15:42

At 1530 today (01/04/2012) a group of 142 Pink-footed Geese were seen flying north along the Machair at Askernish. They circled over the golf course looking to join 33 Greenland White-fronted Geese which were feeding in an adjacent field before continuing their journey north towards Kildonan

Thanks Mr.T, I went to have a look and at around 18.00 there were 54 Greenland Whitefront in the fields east of Askernish machair but by 19.00 they seem to have moved on.
