Greenland White-fronts & Whoopers

Post by MisterT » 02 Apr 2012, 16:46

A group of 23 greenland white-fronted geese were again on the fields adjacent to Askernish Golf course. These were joined by another group of circa 30 birds later in the morning.
2 groups of whooper swans (13 and then 23) were seen flying north along Askernish machair during the day. There were also 2 goldfinch in the garden for most of the morning.
