Glaucous Gull

Post by MisterT » 04 Apr 2012, 16:45

Having to have the car serviced today gave us the opportunity to "bird" Benbecula while waiting. Loch Fada and Mor revealed nothing of note while 3 gadwall (2 male, 1 female) and 2 pair of shoveller were on Coot Loch.

Stinky Bay had 1 great northern diver and 6 long-tailed duck just off shore and a first winter glaucous gull was on the beach.

A good day slightly spoilt by the shock of the price of tyres these days!
