Uist Botany Group
Loch Duidibeg Plantation Field Meeting
Saturday 19 April 2014. 11.00am -1.00pm

Loch Druidibeg Plantation, South Uist, Outer Hebrides

Start off the botanical season with a visit to the Loch Druidbeg plantation (NF 798 387).
There's a few things flowering, a few seedpods that are still identifiable and anyone who knows their trees will find a few things of interest.
Meet at the old shop in Stilligarry (marked with a phone box on the OS Map) at 11am.
We'll probably botanise until 1pm so if you bring a packed lunch we'll be in a perfect setting for a picnic afterwards!
Bring walking boots or wellies, a hand lens if you have one and a packed lunch if you'd like to stay for a picnic.

For further information please contact Flora Donald at floderi@btinternet.com
