Uist Botany Group Field Meeting Sunday 11 May Allt Bholagair

Post by christinej » 05 May 2014, 09:42

Allt Bholagair gorge (NF799 293) should have some great spring flowers for us to look at including Pyramidal Bugle (Ajuga pyrimidalis).

There is c. 1.5km walk from the car park to the gorge and it is likely to be a bit damp in places so please bring waterproof footwear. I expect we'll spend the best part of the day there so please bring packed lunch / flask etc.

Meet at the Loch Eynort car park at 10am - there's not much space so we will need to share lifts as much as possible. Please get in touch Flora Donald if you are interested in coming so we can arrange lift-sharing!
