Bumblebees of the Outer Hebrides

Post by christinej » 26 Apr 2015, 11:38

Outer Hebrides Biological Recording have just published a leaflet on the bumblebees of the Outer Hebrides. With drawing by Bill Neill and photographs by Robin Petley-Jones and Chris Johnson, we hope that it will help you identify the bees you see. Most of the species are relatively common, but we would still appreciate your records, particularly from Lewis and Harris. If you are interested in joining the annual bumblebee surveys organised by Bill Neill, please contact us (admin@ohbr.org.uk)

We will be making copies of the leaflets available throughout the islands as soon as possible, but you can download a copy here: http://www.ohbr.org.uk/documents/leafle ... 0guide.pdf
