OHBR Field Meeting - Scotvein, Grimsay Sunday 24th August

OHBR Field Meeting - Scotvein, Grimsay
Sunday 24th August, 10.30am
We were all disappointed when we had to cancel the visit to Peter & Gwen's croft arranged for 17 August so we are having another attempt. If the weather defeats us again we will try Sunday 31 August.
Low water is at 11.57 am so there will be an opportunity to have a look at the seashore animals and plants.
We have not had a meeting on Grimsay before, so I am sure we will add more dots to the species distribution maps.
Everyone is welcome whatever your interest and we are always pleased to welcome absolute beginners.
Meet at NF856558 where there is parking for 3-4 cars with space for another 2 cars 100 yards further along the track. There is additional parking at the start of the track (NF85456). Parking is limited so please car share if possible and contact us if you need a lift.
The weather is currently unsettled but there is a barn if shelter is required. So pack a waterproof and bring your wellies.
